A nonprofit organization that helps young people recreate their stories into being active community members. As a Content & Communication Specialist, I have created newsletters, internal communications, fundraising promotional material, events material, office poster decor, etc.

Annual Golf tournaments

Youth Progress Annual Golf Tournament is a fundraiser for local businesses from around Portland to help change the story of young people. I spearheaded the marketing and communications for this event. By creating material, including social media content, banners, flyers, infograpics, brand books, and other day of event prints, for the CEO and board members, they were able to provide key stakeholders engaging content. These events resulted in over 20 sponsors and teams that results in a total of over $50,000 raised for the youth of our future.

Flyers & posters

The graphics seen here were all originally on a plain google doc full of just words. While keeping loyal to the company’s branding, I created a captivating infographic for the customer to easily review and understand the organization.

SOCIAL MEDIA: BLACK LIVES MATTER

To stand with the Black Lives Matter movement, I collected resources for supporters to find ways to get involved while also bettering their understanding of the Black community and the needs of Black young people in this society. These next 4 graphic series is a social media campaign in hopes to inspire others to do more.

By providing unique stories from the young people in our community, key stakeholders will have a good sense of the hope and resilience these young people have. I went into the field to interview foster & juvenile justice kids to gather engaging stories to help strengthen our campaign.
