This film project is based on the perception of time.

I have always been interested in the idea of time and sight. So, I decided to converge them together to tell a story about time being represented in a watch, but also symbolized within one’s eyes. I depicted this in two very different characters. One goes through their day looking at their watch and going with a strict time schedule, and the other goes about their day using their eyes as a sense of time as they watch time pass by. In the end, these two different characters become friends and that is symbolized by a shared laugh they have with each other. This also connects with the very last scene in which the split screen of the watch and eye converge together into one as a representation that time and sight have a similar use in someone’s daily life.
Time as we usually see it is through a ticking clock. Others might see it as when the sun come up and goes back down. This film compares two different perceptions of time through two people.
